• R&D issues of CSRTI-Mysuru, CTR&TI Ranchi, CMER&TI Lahdoigarh & SBRL Kodathi and Review of Physical & Financial progress of the concerned CSB institutes
• Co-ordinate and conduct RCC and Core Committee of CSB Directors meeting
• Support Head RCS in furnishing material related R&D issues of CSB Board meetings/Standing Committee/SLSCC meetings
• Support Head RCS in co-ordination of issues related to Silk Samagra 2, IMTF, multi-tasking, restructuring etc.,
• Maintaining database of R&D activities/ e-tracking, all the CSB institutes (Proposals, Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly & concluded reports)
• Attending periodical updating of information on R&D activities in the CSB Website
• Monitoring and maintenance of e-tracking system (eSubMIS)
• Follow-up on MOT / VIP references including Parliament questions pertaining to non mulberry sectors
• Co-ordinate issues related to PFAE and maintenance of database
• Furnishing the updated information on RCS and PFAE activities to Technical Section for monthly, Quarterly reports and Notes on sericulture to MoT/PMO
• Attending issues related to convergence activities with other ministries / departments like ICAR, RKVY (MoA&FW), MGNREGS (MoRD) and IIFM (MoEF&CC) etc
• Attending issues related to Mahila Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana Projects (MKSP) & NRLM support Organization (NSO)
• To support organizing various meetings by RCS section
